DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide technical leadership and oversight by conducting design reviews, setting coding and modeling standards, and ensuring analytical rigor, validation, and compliance. Design and implement scalable analytical methods and tools leveraging diverse datasets from disparate sources, utilizing advanced modeling techniques to generate insights while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficient processing at scale. Focus on purely technical infrastructure, such as building and maintaining data pipelines, cloud architecture, or ML Ops to embed data-driven insights into enterprise initiatives. Focus on internal proprietary data pipelines or IoT/sensor data and enhance financial insights in alignment with regulatory and compliance standards. Focus on backend data engineering, API development, or model deployment rather than visualization for high- impact business decisions and public-facing presentations. Perform targeted hands-on analytics and prototyping for high-priority initiatives and complex problem-solving scenarios. Drive the analysis and categorization of transaction descriptions to enhance insights, while monitoring customer cash flows, including inflows and outflows to focus on a completely different domain such as cybersecurity analytics, supply chain optimization, or healthcare, manufacturing, or telecommunications. Focus on real-time streaming analytics, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision, and root cause analysis, to identify clients risks and opportunities within portfolios. Lead and manage a data science team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development of direct reports. Lead data science projects to evaluate customer financial behavior across deposit accounts, credit cards, and lending products, and focus on operational metrics, engineering performance indicators, or scientific research metrics to generate comprehensive customer profiles and inform strategic decision-making. Own end-to-end delivery of analytics and data science initiatives, including planning, prioritization, roadmap definition, and risk management across a portfolio of projects.
