Position Summary: 

The Executive Director of Home Health, reporting directly to the President and with the Director of Clinical Services reporting directly to this position, is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for the agency’s operations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational objectives. The Executive Director oversees clinical and administrative functions, promotes the physical, personal, and emotional well-being of patients, and works with teams across the organization to achieve optimal patient outcomes and long-term business sustainability.

• Lead day-to-day operations and make strategic business decisions that prioritize the well-being of both the company and its employees.
• Manage a team of professionals, oversee tasks such as recruitment, training, workload management, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure that team efforts are closely aligned with the departmental operational objectives set by leadership.
• Oversee all aspects of operational planning, including budgeting, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to drive census growth and implement effective strategies for expanding service areas.
• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to our services, structures, and processes based on thorough data analysis.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication channels between staff, other departments, external stakeholders, and senior management.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical business conduct and clinical practice across the organization.
• Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as adhering to CHAP standards of care.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to patient care quality and organizational objectives.
• Develop and meticulously track goals aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, maximizing client satisfaction, and optimizing operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.  

• Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in skilled home health and private duty settings.
• Preferred qualifications include being a Registered Nurse or holding a license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) with a proven track record.
• Prior experience in budget management, including budget development and financial monitoring.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations, as well as CHAP standards of care, relating to home health services.
• Flexibility to work weekends and be on call as required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Frequent travel within assigned service area is required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is?occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time, move, communicate, and identify written information.?The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds independently, and occasionally lift and/or move up to two hundred (200) pounds with assistance.
• Work for this position is performed in patient homes, care settings/facilities, and office settings. This position will have to navigate through a variety of different settings to provide care. 
• There is exposure to varied home environments and potential infectious conditions. 
• Must comply with all Dover Health health and safety requirements.
• This role involves actively participating in all staff activities aimed at fostering teamwork, unity, and morale. The individual will contribute as a collaborative team player, working alongside colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive work environment.
