Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing forecasting, budgeting, and financial analyses, and will provide insights to drive the organization's continued growth and profitability. In addition, this role will support the accounting team, including with respect to booking revenue and expenses. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management principles, accounting acumen, and a track record of engendering cross functional relationships to support leaders across the business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create leverage and build capacity for Deputy CFO and Corporate Controller.
  • Provide insightful analysis of the period-over-period and budget variance results, as well as micro and macro trends in the business.
  • Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to accelerate growth and optimize profitability.
  • Represent finance across the business, and partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define and model the potential value of strategic and tactical initiatives, and ensure financial plans align with them.
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Support the accounting team, including by taking responsibility for a subset of monthly recurring, as well as non- recurring, entries.
  • Support and work with the data team to ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage, as well as PowerBI desired.
  • Ability to ‘self-serve’ data and work independently in progressing objectives forward, with 'next level' thought.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including previous experience presenting.
  • Strong ability to translate complex strategic concepts into actionable and practical plans, even under challenging circumstances.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset; willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high-quality work product.
  • Welcomes accountability and desire to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Proactivity and responsiveness will be key attributes to being successful in the role.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Previous or current CPA licensure a plus but not required.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, and 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis

Physical Requirements: Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time. Lift up to 15 lbs.
