
The Project Manager will manage and orchestrate medical equipment capital projects from initial planning through implementation to final close-out. Responsibilities include user group consultation, financial management, contract negotiation, and the supervision of contractors and tradespeople.
Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in architecture or engineering and possess five to seven years of experience in medical equipment replacement within construction environments. A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required, along with strong communication skills and knowledge of healthcare building codes.

Position Summary
As a member of the UHN FM-PRO Redevelopment, under the Medical Imaging Capital project team, the Project Manager role will manage, organize and orchestrate medical equipment related projects from planning through implementation to project close-out.
The immediate focus for this position will be the development and implementation of UHN Medical Imaging approved capital projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful applicant is an excellent communicator, detailed and tactful in managing stakeholder expectations with considerable experience integrating cutting edge technology in existing building conditions, leading the development of the project and project team (both internal and external) through to successful completion.
